In recent years, our society has made an effort to better understand neurodivergent people— a group that makes up approximately 30% of the world’s population. However, most studies about neurodevelopmental conditions have been focused on men rather than women, especially girls. This fact, along with how society expects women to behave, means that neurodivergent women are often overlooked and misdiagnosed.

Using the feminist media company Refinery29 as a platform, this campaign puts the audience in the shoes of neurodivergent women— exposing them to phrases to better understand the burden of neurodiversity.
